Hi friend,

I hope your 2024 is off to a great start! We're geared up for a year of action and impact – and I'm so glad that you're a part of it! 💫

This year, we'll be hosting Town Halls on a more regular quarterly basis. OPEN's Town Halls are an opportunity to hear updates about our work, share your big ideas, and connect with other changemakers from the non-monogamy movement. Our first 2024 Town Hall will be next week on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 4:00pm PST / 7:00pm EST. RSVP to attend or get a copy of the recording.

We're also excited to kick off planning for an expanded Week of Visibility for Non-monogamy, from July 15–21! Building on the first global Day of Visibility in 2023, we're aiming for a wider reach and even more space to celebrate with a full week of action and events. To accomplish this, we're starting planning earlier and inviting even more collaboration. Join us for a Kick-off Call on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 1:00pm PST / 4:00pm EST to help get the ball rolling! RSVP to attend or receive a copy of the recording.

What else is in store for 2024? We're continuing to offer free, twice-monthly peer support circles on the second and third Tuesday of each month. This spring, we'll be launching our third annual Community Survey to gather more data about the identities and experiences non-monogamous people around the world. Keep your eyes open for even more great resources, like our new End-of-Life Planning Guide for non-monogamous families and loved ones. We'll also be launching new working groups and volunteer initiatives that will create more opportunities to get involved.

Our Impact Initiatives will also be a core focus of our work in 2024. Working with our friends at the Polyamory Legal Advocacy Coalition, we're continuing to progress new non-discrimination legislation in additional US cities, and in the spring we'll be rolling our new resources and programs to help you advocate for protections in your city, too. Our Open Workplace Initiative to advance inclusion for non-monogamous professionals is also picking up steam thanks to a new partnership with Out & Equal, the leading global LGBTQ+ workplace advocacy organization with a network of employee groups at over a hundred Fortune 500 companies!

Altogether, it looks to be an exciting year for OPEN and the broader non-monogamy movement! With so much exciting stuff in the works, now is a great time to get your friends and community on board. Consider forwarding this email or posting about OPEN on social media or in your favorite local non-monogamy group! You can point people to www.open-love.org/hello, where they'll find all the ways to connect with us and get involved.

You can also support OPEN by making a donation, starting a social media fundraiser on Facebook or Instagram, or by shopping our non-monogamy nonfiction reading list. Your support makes this work possible – thank you!

💖 With gratitude,
Brett Chamberlin, Executive Director

P.S. I'll be at SexPosCon in LA Feb! 16-18. If you're there, say hello or let's grab coffee :)
