Who we are
OPEN is a nonprofit organization working to advance rights and acceptance for non-monogamous families and relationships. More than that, we’re a movement of people working toward a future where romantic and intimate relationships between consenting adults are respected and protected regardless of relationship structure, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Why OPEN matters
Despite being widely practiced, non-monogamy is often stigmatized and misunderstood. This leads to challenges for those in non-monogamous relationships, from discrimination to the need to conceal their true selves. At OPEN, our goal is to shift this narrative, advocating for the recognition, respect, and protection of non-monogamous relationships. Our vision is a future where diverse forms of love and connection are embraced and celebrated without judgment.

Support people practicing or exploring non-monogamy through resources, community building, and more.
Improve visibility and awareness of non-monogamy through education, media engagement, and events.
Build power for the non-monogamy movement to fight for our rights and ultimately create a more just and loving world!
